Rocket55 Wins Two Interactive Media Awards: Secondhand Hounds Website Named Best in Class in Two Categories

MINNEAPOLIS, July 25, 2017 — Digital marketing agency Rocket55 recently received two Interactive Media Awards (IMA) for the website the firm designed for Secondhand Hounds, a nonprofit animal rescue in Eden Prairie, Minn.

The Secondhand Hounds website was named Best in Class in the “Pets” and “Nonprofit” categories, the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards.

“The Rocket55 team had so much fun designing the Secondhand Hounds website, given the heartwarming subject matter,” said Caitlin Tvrdik, Chief Marketing Officer and Partner at Rocket55. “We are honored to win the awards, and also overjoyed that two of our team members changed the lives of two dogs by adopting them into their homes.”

The Secondhand Hounds website that Rocket55 designed features clear organization, making it simple for website visitors to see photos and details of dogs and cats for adoption; get involved with Secondhand Hounds by fostering an animal or volunteering; donate to the organization; stay up to date on events and news; and more.

In order to win this award level, the website had to successfully pass through a comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA program earn each year.

Websites are judged on the following criteria using a points-based system: design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance. Each entry could earn up to a maximum of 500 points; the Secondhand Hounds website received 494 points.
