Challenge:
Sedgwick Heating specializes in providing heating and air conditioning services in the Twin Cities. The HVAC landscape in Minnesota is highly competitive with over 100 companies battling for an edge online, so we knew getting them top search rank would be a battle.

Strategy:
Going into this project, we understood the local nature of the HVAC industry, requiring us to analyze consumer attitudes and tendencies in Google search. As a result, we targeted keywords that generated high traffic with low bounce rates and optimized for cities that were in their market.

Results
Since we started work with Sedgwick Heating, Rocket 55 has helped grow the number of organic search traffic by over 315% after positioning them in the top 3 for most of their keywords. In addition, we simultaneously expanded their brand awareness evident by a 200% increase in direct traffic.

 

Black Box resale

 

Challenge:
Black Box Resale is a leader in reselling new and refurbished equipment from today’s leading communications companies in their 80,000 sq ft. warehouse. Black Box Resale were in need of new traffic to their site, but they were attempting to do so with poorly optimized pages, let alone competing with huge brands such as Cisco and Nortel on the first page.

Strategy:

Rocket 55 implemented a combination of web analytics, conversion tracking, link building, keyword research and content optimization among other search engine optimization (SEO) tactics. The Rocket 55 SEO consultants deployed a huge link building campaign to improve the link profile and catapult them to a new playing field online.

Results:
Our SEO campaign resulted in a 50% increase in visits, 40% increase in page views, and most importantly, their online sales went through the roof, improving their conversions by well over 350%.
